Introduction :

These 2 agents are needed to use Okta Advanced Server Access :

  • ScaleFT Agent on Server
  • ScaleFT Client on Client Workstation

ScaleFT Agent on Server

  • Login to your server and run below command : 
curl -C - https://pkg.scaleft.com/scaleft_yum.repo | sudo tee
sudo rpm --import https://dist.scaleft.com/pki/scaleft_rpm_key
  • Install Okta Advanced Server Access Tools.
sudo yum install scaleft-server-tools
systemctl status sftd
  • Login to Okta Advanced Server Access Portal and then navigate to Projects and Click on “Create Project“

ScaleFT Client on Client Workstation

Download Here : https://dist.scaleft.com/client-tools/windows/latest/ScaleFT.msi

  • Enroll Client Computer with Okta.
  • Now, It shows the computer under Clients.
  • Login to Okta for server Administration.
