Microsoft releases a lot of updates for office 365 and keeping tracking of it isn’t easy and it’s common to miss important updates. This is the reason Microsoft has provided a feature to sync all Message center notifications with Planner, so that you can keep track of important items and assign it to your team members of research, action etc.
Today’s we will see, step by step process to enable syncing of message center with planner. you should have a O365 Group ready or you can create during this syncing process. Let’s go and see the steps :
- Login to this page : https://admin.microsoft.com/Adminportal/Home#/MessageCenter
- Click on Set up Syncing
- Create or choose existing office 365 group/planner.
- Decide, if you want to bring old message center items to the planner or not, and what should be sync interval.
- As soon as you hit Done above, you will start seeing the items in your planner, here you can create more buckets and put task in different buckets automatically.
